Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the query under its own systems and returns the result. Iosco County Criminal History does not keep or log those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be retained long enough to answer and maintain the correspondence. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Iosco County Criminal History does not compile, host, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It identifies official access points such as the Iosco County Sheriff, local court clerks, the Michigan State Police Criminal Justice Information Center, and the Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry. This website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report or a third-party criminal-history file.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their privacy terms, retention periods, and sharing rules apply to information entered there. We do not set those practices, so review the provider’s policy before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Iosco County offices, Michigan agencies, courts, legal-aid resources, or commercial search providers. After leaving this website, the destination’s privacy policy governs. Read it before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own technology to measure activity across websites and tailor advertising. Their systems, not ours, control that tracking.

- Object to certain processing where the law permits
- Request deletion when no legal basis requires retention
